Hello! My name is Roxana and I love to travel. I discovered this passion on my first trip outside of the country, when I visited Milan for the first time. Since then, several years have passed, during which I have visited almost everything I set out to see in Europe, and a little bit of Asia. My future plans include a burning desire to discover as much of Asia as possible, as well as a bit of the other continents.
I graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at UNIBUC in 2017, and currently work in the IT field. This means that I’m not a full-time traveler, but I aspire to be one. I could say that for me, time is measured in the days left until the next vacation, because most of my vacation days are reserved for travel. In my little free time, I always make sure to do something for myself, and writing on my blog is one of those activities.
The idea of a blog has always appealed to me, but I never found a topic that wouldn’t bore me and that I could sustain in the long term. Until I realized that I could answer all the questions I receive about my travels in writing, in a place where other people could also have access to it, not just my friends. Hide Et Seek appeared in September 2021, and since then I’ve been trying to dedicate as much time as possible to improving it and bringing new and useful content to other travel enthusiasts. I do everything you see on the blog myself, from text and photos to site design and other technical details, which, although they give me headaches, are a real challenge that I couldn’t say no to.
