Stretching over 200km, Costa Brava delights with numerous spectacular beaches, perfectly framed by the azure shades of the Mediterranean Sea and the earth-colored rocky formations. Spain is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, and if I were to go by my own opinion, I would say it’s at the top of the list. The coastal area, especially Costa Brava, only reinforces these views.
The starting point of Costa Brava is the town of Blanes, a former fishing village located about 70km from Barcelona. If you’re wondering how to get from Barcelona to Costa Brava, the answer is by train. Although my recommendation for exploring the coastal area is to rent a car, in its absence, the train remains a very fast and convenient option to travel from Barcelona to Costa Brava, as well as between the resorts on the coast.
